THESE HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL SPREAD INTO THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY ON SUNDAY. BY SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY AND TUESDAY...HEAVY RAINS WILL REACH THE CENTRAL APPALACHIANS. WHILE THE ONGOING DROUGHT WILL TEND TO KEEP THE THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING DOWN INITIALLY...VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THE SAME AREAS WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASING FLASH FLOOD THREAT OVER TIME. -

THE AREA WILL MOVE WEST NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH. HEAVIER BANDS WITHIN THE LARGE RAIN AREA...MAY BRING UP TO AN INCH PER HOUR RAINFALL RATES...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS FROM WARRENSBURG TO MACON THROUGH 1 PM. MOST LOCATIONS HOWEVER...WILL SEE RAINFALL RATES LESS THAN A QUARTER OF AN INCH PER HOUR. -
